About Institute

Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology is a centre of learning of the discipline of Archaeology and its allied disciplines like Epigraphy, Numismatics, Iconography, Museology, etc. flourishing under the aegis of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for decades. It is an organic institution that keeps on evolving in line with the rapidly changing modern global world. It is strengthening the core of Archaeological Survey of India and the discipline of Archaeology itself by providing a platform for creating trained personnel in the field of Archaeology.
